The Senator Roland Burris piñata is a hit and journos everywhere are lining up to take a swing.

The thing that makes a political piñata so fun is that once that first hole opens up, you never know what kind of treat will pop out!

Did he ‘forget’ to mention any other saliant points about his possible involovment with Rod Blagojevich’s alleged pay-for-play Senate seat hijinks?

Did Senator Burris actually give (or arrange) contributions to Rod Blagojevich’s campaign, while he was being considered for President Obama’s soon to be vacated Senate seat?

Will Senator Burris resign or be forced out of office?  If so, who will replace him?  If not, how will that shape the 2010 Illinois Senate race?

Who knows?

The one thing we do know is that everyone seems to be lining up to take a swing at the Senator Roland Burris piñata, so there will probably be more treats spilling out!
