In case you missed it, President Obama recently showed how he deals with annoyances (and, no, I don’t mean getting rid of inspector generals).

In an interview with CNBC, President Obama was being annoyed by a fly.  He tried to shoo it off, but when the fly persisted, President Obama made the ultimate command decision and went nuclear on the fly.

Now, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), feel the President shouldn’t have killed the fly.  They feel he should have practiced ‘catch and release’ and went so far as to send the President a ‘Katcha Bug‘ (the ‘Humane Bug Catcher’).

Personally, I think I’d rather send the White House one of these:

Fly swatters aside, though, I think the group that really ought to feel uncomfortable by this bold, yet subtle, display of aggressive dealings with nuisances is North Korea.  Given that, according to a recent Fox News poll, 69% of Americans think that President Obama has not been tough enough on North Korea, I think that fly swatting display was aimed straight at Kim Jong-il.

Kim Jong-il, are you watching?  You saw what President Obama did to that fly and all it was doing was annoying him.  You keep messing around with nukes and possibly firing missles towards Hawaii and you might find yourselves on something much worse than the Double Secret Probation you’ve been under!
