The Connecticut Post Online reported a man was charged Monday with disorderly conduct, public indecency, and failure to comply with fingerprinting after he showed up naked for a dental appointment.
The man, 41-year-old Christopher Hoff, is being held in lieu of bond.
He entered Optimus Dental in his birthday suit, frightening the receptionist, who began to scream.
Mr. Hoff fled, but police were able to track him to his home.
When questioned by police, Mr. Hoff said he was a patient of Optimus Dental, but that he had been at home all day sleeping.
After being IDed by the receptionist, police took him into custody.
In addition to his legal issues, one has to assume that Mr. Hoff will also be receiving a bill for failing to cancel his dental appointment at least 24 hours in advance, what with him showing up five days late and all.
