Why ABC’s Stu Schutzman feels that this is even newsworthy is beyond me, but I guess where there is a negative spin to be applied to a Republican, there is a MSM “reporter” ready to spin it.
Former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfield was waiting for a bus in Washington, D.C.. Why was Donald Rumsfield taking the bus? Was his Bentley in the shop? Was he trying to save the world from Climate Change by taking mass transit? Who knows? Mr. Schutzman doesn’t seem to have bothered trying to find out. In any case, the bus was apparently full and didn’t stop at the bus stop.
Mr. Schutzman thinks this indignity is far worse than Tom Daschle’s withdrawl as President Obama’s nominee to the post of Secretary of Health and Human Services.
See, Donald Rumsfield was taking the bus and it didn’t stop for him because it was full and Mr. Daschle only pulled his name from consideration as Secretary of Health and Human Services because he was catching a lot of heat for failing to declare all of his income and pay the appropriate taxes. I’m sure everyone can see that Mr. Rumsfield’s predicament is much worse Mr. Daschle’s, right?
